We all know that eating healthy is important for our children, but we often find ourselves in a trap of fixing what we KNOW they’ll eat versus fixing what we know is good for them and will fuel their brains during school time.
Livestrong and WebMD both post articles on a regular basis regarding the importance of Fueling your children with a well-balanced nutritious lunch.
Here are some of my favorite lunches to send my kids:
1. Turkey (hormone free, antibiotic free) , Cheddar, Lettuce & Dill Pickle Slices on Rosemary Olive Oil Bread
2. Smartfood – White Cheddar Popcorn ( Walmart)
3. Kind Bar – (Walmart)
4. Fresh Apple
